Aichi Prefecture (Aichi-ken) is located in the Chubu region on Honshu island,
Japan. The capital is the city of Nagoya. Aichi sign is a symbol of the
spirit of progress of the prefecture toward the world, with its advantage
of facing the Pacific Ocean. It also represents the hope of the prefecture
by the design of the Japanese letters "Aichi" with the rising
sun above the ocean as its background. Aichi prefecture is located in central
Japan facing the Pacific Ocean, resulting in attractive natural features
such as the Ise bay and the Mikawa gulf.
