Ishikawa Prefecture (Ishikawa-ken) is located in the Chubu region on Honshu
island, Japan. The capital is the city of Kanazawa. Ishikawa is on the
Sea of Japan coast.The northern part of Ishikawa consists of the narrow
Noto Peninsula, while the southern part is wider and consists mostly of
mountains, with the Ishikawa's chief city, Kanazawa, located in the coastal
plain. Kenrokuen Garden is by far the most famous part of Kanazawa.

SGI practice Soka Gakkai's particular form of Nichiren Buddhism. Butsudan
Buddhist altar Nichiren taught that by chanting "Nam Myoho Renge Kyo"
to the Gohonzon. SGI practitioners call this process a "human revolution."
