Miyazaki Prefecture (Miyazaki-ken) is located on Kyushu island, Japan.
The capital is the city of Miyazaki. The Western area of Miyazaki is mountainous,
consisting of the Kyushu mountain range and the Kirishima volcanic zone,
and the Eastern border is the coastline of the Pacific Ocean. Hiyajiru
is a traditional Miyazaki food. Its ingredients include fish, tofu, and
cucumber. It is best appreciated when eaten with hot rice.

Miyazaki Bird is Ijima copper pheasant (Phasianus soemmerringii ijimae)
SGI practice Soka Gakkai's particular form of Nichiren Buddhism. Butsudan
Buddhist altar Nichiren taught that by chanting "Nam Myoho Renge Kyo"
to the Gohonzon. SGI practitioners call this process a "human revolution."
