Nagano Prefecture (Nagano-ken) is located in the Shinetsu region on Honshu
island, Japan. The capital is the city of Nagano. Nine of the twelve highest
mountains in Japan can be found in Nagano. Shinano is an old province of
Japan that is now present day Nagano prefecture. Its abbreviation is Shinshu.
The ancient capital was located near modern Matsumoto, which became an
important city of the province.

SGI practice Soka Gakkai's particular form of Nichiren Buddhism. Butsudan

to the Gohonzon. SGI practitioners call this process a "human revolution."
